FestivALL Monday: Juneteenth Celebration, Batman and Wonder Woman, chorus concert, more

All-day: East End Garden Showcase, Charleston East End, from Leon Sullivan Way to Greenbrier Street. Tour brochures are available at area businesses or along the way in info tubes.

All-day: Driven By Design. Keep an eye or for the FestivALL art cab among the C&H Taxi fleet. For rides, call C&H at 304-344-4902.

All-day: FestivALL street performers, artists and public art. FestivALL Princess (Jude Binder), magician Dewayne Hill, O'Ryan the O'mazing, visual artists, public art projects including the FestivALL Catfish, community flash mobs, JADCO's random acts of dance and more.

9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Art-for-ALL Juried Student Art Exhibition. Free, Ticketing Lobby, Clay Center, 1 Clay Square.

10 a.m. to 9 p.m.: Charleston Town Center's Teen and College Student Art Search: FestivALL's Quest for Emerging Artists. Center Court, Charleston Town Center. Visual artworks by artists in middle school, high school and college, ages 13-23.

11 a.m.: Meet & Greet with Batman and Wonder Woman, Picnic Place, Charleston Town Center. Free. Games, crafts and giveaways offered.

11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.: Kiwanis Corporate Regatta. Kanawha County Public Library Plaza, 123 Capitol St. Third miniature "yacht" race. Proceeds benefit the Kanawha County Public Library and other Kiwanis charities. Visit charlestonkiwanis.org for information.

3:30 to 9 p.m.: Juneteenth Celebration. Haddad Riverfront Park. Juneteenth, or Freedom day, is a holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865 announcement of the abolition of Slavery in Texas, and more generally the emancipation of African slaves throughout the Confederate South on June 19. Features headliner Step Afrika! dance company from Washington, D.C. Other performers include Unity in the Community choir, Martin Luther King Male Chorus, Jean English from Harlem Heights. Also spoken word from Crystal Good and Janet Williams. Live DJ Woody Woods from 98.7 the Beat and more. Free.

6 to 9:45 p.m.: West Virginia International Film Festival presents Oscar-Nominated Animated and Live Action Shorts. Underground Cinema at Taylor Books, 226 Capitol St. First 50 minutes of animated shorts is family-oriented programming, with an on-screen warning for those with children for the final 35-minute film that is not. Live action shorts begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.

7:30 p.m.: The Charleston Civic Chorus Concert. Charleston Baptist Temple Sanctuary, 209 Morris St. Program features works by American composer, including arrangements in American folk music, folk hymns and spirituals.
